Job summary

Cassia's Moose Lake Village in Minnesota is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Manager (RN) to lead resident care by assigning tasks to nursing staff and coordinating clinical services.

The successful candidate will oversee unit operations, work with the Director of Nursing to ensure regulatory compliance, and participate in direct patient care as needed. This is a full-time day-shift role with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Valid MN RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years supervisory experience.
• TCU, LTC, and MDS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, oversee, and provide resident-related care.
• Manage and assign tasks to nursing staff on the unit.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations with the DON.
• Notify Clinical Manager, physicians, and family about changes in resident condition.
• Monitor transfers and discharge planning.
• Document and maintain records and reports.
• Provide courteous, resident-focused service; support nursing floor as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

Moose Lake Village, a Cassia Community, is hiring an experienced Registered Nurse Manager (RN)to join our team! In this role, you will manage the clinical care of residents by assigning different tasks to nurses within the department.

Our ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at multitasking, and has excellent customer service skills.

Position Type: Full-Time

Day Shift: 8:30am to 5:00pm

Pay Range: $38 to $42 per hour depending on experience.

Location: 710 S Kenwood Avenue, Moose Lake, Minnesota 55767

Registered Nurse Manager responsibilities:

• Work to coordinate, oversee, and provide resident-related care.
• Manage and assign tasks to nursing staff on the assigned unit.
• Work with the DON to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Notify Clinical Manager, attending physicians, and family members of significant changes in a resident's condition, and takes follow up action as necessary.
• Monitor in-house transfers, transfers to other facilities, and discharge planning.
• Document and maintain paperwork, referral records, and reports.
• Display a courteous attitude and respect for all residents, families, and staff.
• Step in to support the nursing floor and provide direct patient care when needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Registered Nurse Manager skills and requirements:

• Current MN Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• 2+ years supervisory experience preferred.
• TCU, LTC, and MDS experience preferred.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and MS Outlook.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
