Moose Lake Village, a Cassia Community, is actively seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Manager (RN) to lead clinical care for residents. You will assign tasks to nursing staff within the department and collaborate with leadership to maintain high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active MN Registered Nurse license.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience preferred.
• TCU, LTC, and MDS experience preferred.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, oversee, and provide resident-related care.
• Manage and assign tasks to nursing staff on the unit.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations with the DON.
• Notify clinical staff and families of significant changes and take follow-up action.
• Monitor transfers and discharge planning.
• Document paperwork, referrals, and reports.
• Maintain courteous, respectful interactions with residents and families.
• Provide direct patient care when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

Moose Lake Village, a Cassia Community, is hiring an experienced Registered Nurse Manager (RN) to join our team! In this role, you will manage the clinical care of residents by assigning different tasks to nurses within the department.

Our ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at multitasking, and has excellent customer service skills.

Position Type: Full-Time

Day Shift: 8:30am to 5:00pm

Pay Range: $38 to $42 per hour depending on experience.

Location: 710 S Kenwood Avenue, Moose Lake, Minnesota 55767

Registered Nurse Manager responsibilities:

• Work to coordinate, oversee, and provide resident-related care
• Manage and assign tasks to nursing staff on the assigned unit
• Work with the DON to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
• Notify Clinical Manager, attending physicians, and family members of significant changes in a resident's condition, and takes follow up action as necessary
• Monitor in-house transfers, transfers to other facilities, and discharge planning
• Document and maintain paperwork, referral records, and reports
• Display a courteous attitude and respect for all residents, families, and staff
• Step in to support the nursing floor and provide direct patient care when needed
• Performs other duties as assigned

Registered Nurse Manager skills and requirements:

• Current MN Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• 2+ years supervisory experience preferred
• TCU, LTC, and MDS experience preferred
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and MS Outlook
• Strong communication and customer service skills
