Job summary

AORN Inc. in Baltimore, MD, is seeking an experienced nurse leader to hire, train, and mentor a perioperative team, ensuring excellence in patient care and teamwork.

You will oversee daily operating room operations, monitor quality systems, and address clinical issues to elevate collaboration and patient experience.

This role also focuses on policy, regulatory compliance, and prudent resource management to align with fiscal goals.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 30 days of hire or transfer date.
• Registered Nurse licensure required prior to hire date.
• 3 years of clinical experience with 1 year of cumulative leadership experience required.
• OR nursing experience preferred.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Education
  • Required professional licensure/certification AND 3 years of experience and 1 year of cumulative leadership experience required.
