Nurse Manager – Blood Cancer Unit
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all functions of the Blood Cancer and Stem Cell Unit in alignment with hospital goals and values.
- Develop cost-effective systems to support departmental operations, considering trends, resource availability, and customer needs.
- Maintain strong working relationships with patients, physicians, staff, volunteers, and vendors.
- Drive performance improvements through continuous customer satisfaction feedback and employee engagement.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to achieve strategic objectives for the unit and the facility as a whole.

Requirements
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of management experience including:
- Personnel management
- Budget and payroll oversight
- Business planning and marketing
- Physician relations
- Supervision of managerial staff
Licensure & Certifications:
- Active Texas RN License or compact
- Current BLS certification (AHA)
