The Michigan Department of Corrections is seeking a Registered Nurse Manager to supervise the operations of a correctional clinic. This role involves providing direct patient care, overseeing nursing staff, and ensuring the delivery of healthcare to patients in both general and segregation units. Candidates must have a valid nursing degree, relevant experience, and a Michigan nurse license in good standing.

This employee oversees the day-to-day operations of the correctional clinic, supervising all nursing staff, including Registered Professional Nurses. They provide direct patient care and ensure all patients receive appropriate healthcare. They oversee healthcare in the facility's general population/segregation unit, including medical and mental health treatment.
Completion of a nursing degree or nursing school program accepted for registered nurse licensure by the Michigan Board of Nursing.
Two years of experience equivalent to a Registered Nurse P11, or one year equivalent to a Registered Nurse 12, or a Registered Nurse Manager 12.
Registered Nurse Manager 13.
Possession of a master's degree in nursing may substitute for one year of experience as a Registered Nurse P11; a bachelor's degree in nursing may substitute for six months of experience as a Registered Nurse P11.
Must possess a Michigan registered nurse license in good standing.
