Independence Health in Latrobe is seeking an experienced RN to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for a designated patient group. You will coordinate with an interdisciplinary team and contribute to positive patient outcomes across shifts.

The role emphasizes nursing leadership, adherence to standards, infection control, and clear documentation. Strong communication, critical thinking, and knowledge of nursing laws are essential for effective care delivery.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program required.
• Nursing refresher course may be required if employee hasn’t worked in an acute care setting for the past 3 years.
• Strong leadership, organization, independent and critical thinking skills, and knowledge of nursing practice laws.
• Strong ability to communicate complex topics to diverse audiences.

Responsabilidades

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for a designated patient group.
• Coordinate and participate as a team member to promote positive patient outcomes.
• Maintain professional knowledge by attending workshops and reviewing publications.
• Adhere to infection-control policies, medication procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Document care in patient and department records and communicate needs clearly.
• Promote patient independence by teaching care goals and self-care skills.
