Job summary

VCU Health is recruiting Clinical Nurse I–III to deliver age-specific care within a multidisciplinary team. Nurses will document care, administer prescribed medications, and participate in unit-level leadership activities under physician orders.

Clin I, II, III require Virginia RN licensure (or eligible/compact state); ongoing education to BSN is expected if not already completed. Roles include rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays, with compensation ranges posted.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Associate Degree from a professional nursing program recognized and/or approved by the state's Board of Nursing
• All registered nurses without a Bachelor's degree in Nursing must enroll in an approved RN to BSN program within two years and complete within five years unless grandfathered

Responsibilities

• Follows documented physician/licensed independent provider orders
• Organizes work and delegates/supervises others (RNs, LPNs, care partners, unit secretaries)
• Clin I–III work all three shifts, weekends and holidays; shift schedules may be adjusted to meet unit needs
