Job summary

Northwell Health’s Norwalk Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Nursing Float Pool. The RN will provide direct patient care, collaborate with patients and the care team, and document care plans in accordance with hospital policies. This role emphasizes leadership, safety, and continuous learning.

Candidates must hold an active CT RN license and be prepared for a dynamic hospital setting; BLS and relevant certifications are preferred. Competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Current and unobstructed Connecticut RN license (CT Hospitals).
• BLS certification preferred; American Nurses Association endorsed certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care guided by ANA scope of practice.
• Assess patient needs, develop and implement care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
• Document nursing process accurately and ensure hand-off communication.
• Coordinate and supervise nursing care and delegation of tasks.
• Deliver patient-centered care with cultural sensitivity and safety emphasis.
