Job Summary

Summary: Accountable for interpreting the plan of medical care, assessing patients' clinical needs and nursing care, ensuring nursing care is provided safely and competently, providing individualized nursing care, and evaluating nursing care for groups of patients. Acts in a lead capacity by supporting and guiding other nursing staff. Does this position require Patient Care? Yes.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's Degree Nursing required or Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred.
• Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No.
• Licenses and Credentials: Registered Nurse [RN - State License] required. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support [ACLS] - Generic - HR Only preferred. Basic Life Support [BLS Certification].
• Experience: Clinical nursing experience 3-5 years required. Supervisory experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Familiarity with the principles and skills needed for practical nursing to provide patient care and treatment.
• Knowledgeable of the care required by respective age groups for which care is being provided.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to build strong relationships.
