Job summary

One Brooklyn Health System Inc. in New York is seeking a registered nurse to provide direct patient care using the nursing process, coordinating with the multidisciplinary team to ensure focused, high-quality care across all shifts.

You will assess needs, develop and implement care plans, and supervise LPNs and nursing staff while maintaining accurate documentation and contributing to ongoing quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nursing programs.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in nursing preferred.
• Licensed and registered as a professional nurse in New York State.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to assess and coordinate patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assess the immediate and continuing care needs of the patient/significant other.
• Develop comprehensive and current plans of care which include physical needs, patient, patient teaching, and discharge planning and psychosocial/spiritual needs.
• Provide direct patient care and supervise care by other nursing personnel.
• Coordinate the overall plan of care with multidisciplinary team and reassess patient responses.
