Job summary

Baptist Beaches in Jacksonville Beach, FL is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Labor, Delivery, Recovery and Postpartum (LDRP) team on a PRN night shift. You will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to mothers, newborns, and families throughout the childbirth experience.

Responsibilities include the nursing process, collaboration with physicians, patient and family education, accurate documentation, and quick response to changing conditions.

Qualifications

• Current Florida RN license required.
• BLS certification required; maternal/child health certifications preferred.
• Experience in Labor & Delivery, Mother/Baby, Women’s Services, or related specialty preferred.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient care skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
• Provide comprehensive nursing care for labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum, and newborn patients.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, postpartum care, and newborn care.
• Document patient care accurately and in accordance with hospital policies.
• Respond quickly and effectively to changes in patient condition.
