Job summary

Baptist Health Beaches is seeking a compassionate RN to join our Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) team on a PRN night shift at Jacksonville Beach. You will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to mothers, newborns, and families throughout the childbirth experience.

Requirements include a Florida RN license, BLS certification, and experience in Labor & Delivery or Women’s Services.

Qualifications

• Current Florida RN license is required.
• BLS certification required; maternal/child health certifications preferred.
• Experience in Labor & Delivery, Mother/Baby, Women’s Services, or related specialty preferred.
• Diploma nurses must have 5+ years of progressive nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
• Provide comprehensive nursing care for labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum, and newborn patients.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, postpartum care, and newborn care.
• Advocate for patients and support individualized plans of care.
• Document patient care accurately and in accordance with hospital policies.
• Respond quickly and effectively to changes in patient condition.
