Job summary

Henry Ford Health is seeking a Per Diem Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract in Michigan. The role requires 36 hours weekly, with shifts days or nights and the obligation to work every third weekend and every other holiday. This temporary assignment is non-benefit eligible.

Candidates must hold Michigan RN licensure, have 1.5+ years of related experience, and current BLS, NRP, and C-EFM certifications. Epic EHR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work in the clinical area of greatest need due to staffing shortages.
• Provide patient care during Labor & Delivery as assigned.
• Collaborate with nursing and physician teams to ensure safe, effective care.
• Support 13-week contract and 36 hours per week commitments.
• Adhere to every third weekend and every other holiday scheduling requirements.

General Summary

• 60-90 day temporary assignment, non-benefit eligible.
• Works in clinical area of greatest need due to staffing shortages, not limited to single clinical area.
• Must work every third weekend. Must work every other holiday.
• Must work 36 hours per week/72 hours per pay period.
• Must fulfill 56-112 day schedule commitment.

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing required.
• Must have greater than 1.5 years related work experience.
• Current BLS
• Current NRP
• Current C-EFM (Inteleos or NCC)
