Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for Labor & Delivery on days in Elmhurst, IL. The role requires RN licensure in Illinois and a mix of ADN/BSN education with OB experience. Expect 36 hours weekly, day shifts, and rotating weekends/holidays.

Candidates should have CPR, ACLS, C-EFM, and NRP certifications in place or within the specified timeframes. Floating to mother-baby is possible per unit needs.

Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery - Days

Hourly Pay Range:$37.25 - $57.74 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• Position: Registered Nurse
• Level 2E unit Labor and Delivery
• Location: Elmhurst, IL
• Full Time - 36 hours/ week
• Hours: Days 7 am - 7:30 pm, rotating weekends and rotating holidays
• Required Travel: Floating to mother baby as needed

What you will do:

• Provides professional nursing care according in accordance with the Illinois Professional Registered Nurse Practice Act, and hospital policies and procedures. Employs critical thinking skills, assesses patients' condition, recognizes changes, plans and evaluates care, monitors patients' progress, and records pertinent observations. Delegates appropriate patient care tasks to other staff. Functions as a team member to fulfill unit goals. The following are general characteristics of this job, although duties may vary by assigned unit or shift.

What you will need:

• Education: Associate Degree or higher in Nursing ; If Associate Degree in Nursing is the highest degree held, must graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing within five years of position start date (effective September 1, 2021)
• Certification: Current CPR through American Heart Association, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within six months of start date into position, Certificate of Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM) within one year of start date into position, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within six months of start date into position
• Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure
• Preferred Skills: Labor & Delivery RN experience preferred
