Job summary

Saint Luke's is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) in Labor and Delivery for a Full Time night position to gain extensive experience through ongoing continuing education opportunities. You will apply the nursing process to deliver patient care and collaborate with the health care team.

You will delegate tasks, supervise other patient care staff, and coordinate the care plan for a group of patients to achieve optimal outcomes. An Associate Degree and BLS/NRP/RQI certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Less than 1 year of applicable nursing experience.
• Current BLS, RQI, NRP certifications.
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.

Responsibilities

Accountable for utilizing the nursing process. Responsible for performing patient care delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff. Responsible for coordinating the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This clinical nurse demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies rules guidelines and procedures.
