Cooper University Health Care is seeking a Registered Nurse for Labor & Delivery. The role requires an ADN and NLN-accredited nursing program completion, plus at least 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience.

The Registered RN is a professional care-giver who, as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team, assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and who supervises and provides care to these patients utilizing the nursing process including the therapeutic use of self. Follows established policies and procedures. Communicates openly with internal customers and supervisors. Provides excellent customer service interfacing well with all levels of staff, management and physicians. Applies Cooper core values. Other duties as required.
The Labor and Delivery unit has 6 labor rooms, 1 treatment room, and 2 high risk maternal advanced care beds. There are also 2 designated operating rooms and 2 PACU bays. The unit specializes in labor and delivery of uncomplicated and high-risk pregnancies. The Obstetrical Triage unit consists of 7 triage bays as well as 2 non-stress test chairs. Any patient 16 weeks pregnant or greater to 6 weeks post-partum is seen in OB Triage. Patients are seen for various complaints as well as for iron/blood infusions, and Rhogam injections.
1 year minimum Labor & Delivery experience as an RN required.
ASSOCIATES
Graduate of NLN accredited School of Nursing.
Part time, 7am-7pm, weekend and holiday rotation required.
