What You'll Do

• Collect and organize patient data using all possible resources.
• Examine patients to determine physical status through interview, observation, and inspection.
• Identify and record patients' physical and psycho-social conditions.
• Formulate care plans that prioritize patient needs and expected outcomes.
• Collaborate with the health team to ensure comprehensive care.
• Identify patients' educational needs and coping mechanisms.

Requirements

Education:

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.

Experience:

• 1-2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required.

Licenses & Certifications:

• Current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State.
• BLS, ACLS, NRP required.
• c-EFM certification upon 1 year of hire required.
