Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for Labor and Delivery and Post-Partum in Highland Park, IL. You will provide safe, compassionate care in the LDRP, apply the nursing process, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality outcomes and patient experience.

This role includes a 1900–0730 schedule, weekend rotations, and on-call per unit requirements. Full-time position, 36 hours/week with eligibility for a $25,000 sign-on bonus for qualified LDRP experience; base pay

Qualifications

• Education: NLN-accredited nursing program.
• BSN strongly preferred or Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• Experience: 1 year in acute care or LDRP preferred.

• Independently provide safe nursing care in LDRP.

Hourly Pay Range:

$36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

• Endeavor Health is currently conducting a comprehensive review of our compensation structure. The new minimum for this role will be adjusted to $37.25 base pay hourly rate beginning with the second paycheck in October.

Position Highlights:

Sign on Bonus: $25,000: To be eligible for the sign on bonus, must have 18 months of LDRP experience.

• Position: Registered Nurse -Labor and Delivery and Post-Partum

• Location: Highland Park, IL

• Full Time/Part Time: Full time, 36 hours per week

• Hours: 1900--0730, with weekend rotation

• On Call: per unit requirements 12 hours per 6 week schedule

• Required Travel: Float to Post-Partum Evanston Hospital

What you will do:

• Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care in the LDRP

• Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care

• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care

• Communicate and collaborate with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care

• Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience

What you will need:

• Education: Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing required; BSN strongly preferred

• Certification: BLS/CPR certification for the Healthcare Provider required ( American Heart Association)

• License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required

• Experience: 1 year of acute care nursing experience or 1 year labor and delivery/post-partum experience preferred

• Unique or Preferred Skills: Labor and Delivery/post-partum experience
