Job summary

Carroll Hospital in Westminster, Maryland seeks a skilled Registered Nurse with Labor & Delivery experience to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for a diverse patient group. The role requires collaboration with physicians and staff to ensure high-quality care and adapts to the neonate, pediatric, and adult patient needs.

NLRN license in Maryland or eligibility, BLS, and NRP within 6 months are required, with NRP credential within six months of hire.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Labor and Delivery experience
• Current Maryland RN license or eligibility to obtain Maryland license

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and delegate patient care for a defined group of staff.
• Collaborate with physicians and other health professionals to ensure quality care.
• Provide age-appropriate care for neonate, infant, child, and adult patients and address physical and psychosocial needs.

Summary: Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating and if necessary, delegating patient care to a specified group of staff. Collaborates with physicians, medical professionals and other staff to ensure the quality of care given. Provides care for the neonate, adolescent and adult patient. Utilizes knowledge of the principles of growth and development appropriate to the patient's age to ensure that care provided meets the unique, physical and psychosocial needs of the patient.

Credential Note: NRP is required within 6 months of hire

Pay Range: $37.15 to $57.58 Based On Experience
