Floating Requirements:

May float to Methodist Hospital ED; will provide OB-specific care alongside a primary RN. Nurses are asked to arrive 30 minutes early for orientation.

License and Certification:

IN-STATE LICENSE / REQUIRED CERTS MUST BE IN HAND TO SUBMIT. Pending license not accepted.

RTO Restrictions:

Must work 2/3 major holidays.

Guaranteed Hours:

8 and 10 hr. shifts (40 hrs. weekly); 3x12 shifts (36 hrs. weekly); 4x12 shifts (48 hrs. weekly).

Special Requirements:

Experience in L&D travel, facility births/month 200-300, NST, reflex checks, use of EFM, management of high-risk conditions, and various obstetric and neonatal procedures.

Unit Information:

L&D patients.

Effective 11/30/24:

IN RNs will not be allowed to work at IU Health facilities, with some exceptions for periop/OR RNs, Allied, and Ambulatory RN travelers.
