Job summary

A leading health provider is seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery for a contract position in the Northeast Region. The nurse will provide high-quality patient care, ensure safety and comfort during labor, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Candidates must have a valid NJ RN license and relevant certifications. The role requires at least 2 years of experience in the labor and delivery unit, and involves every other weekend and holiday shifts. Competitive hourly pay based on experience is offered.

Base pay range

$44.10/hr - $63.00/hr

Title: Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Location: Northeast Region (Onsite)

Employment Type: Contract | 12 Weeks | Every other weekend and every other holiday required

Compensation

Pay Range:$44.10-$63.00/Hrs

Description

• Provide high-quality care to patients in the labor and delivery unit.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during labor and delivery.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care.
• Utilize electronic medical records to document patient care.
• Adhere to hospital policies and procedures.
• Maintain professional standards and comply with regulatory requirements.
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient vitals and progress during labor.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Assist in the delivery process and provide postnatal care.
• Educate patients and families on postpartum care and procedures.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records.
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in labor and delivery required.
• Active RN License in NJ or Compact License required at submission.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, C-EFM required.
• Experience with electronic medical records preferred.
