Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a Registered Nurse for Labor and Delivery at Carlsbad, NM. The RN provides antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum and neonatal care using the Nursing Process, demonstrating critical thinking, leadership and safe delivery planning.

Requirements include ACLS, NRP and BLS, 2 years of obstetrical experience, patient ratios from 1:1 to 1:4, no floating and no on-call duties. EMR systems used: MedHost, GE Centricity OB, and Athena Clinic.

Competenze

ACLS, NRP, and BLS are required.
Minimum 2 years obstetrical experience.
Night shift with 1:1–4 patient ratios.

Provide obstetrical care across antepartum to neonatal periods using the Nursing Process.

Position Description

The Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing during the antepartum, intrapatum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phase of Obstetrical care to Labor and Delivery patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policy and procedures. The registered nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgement and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care; maintains clinical competencies through continuing education; delegates patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available; provides direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.
