Job summary

Rosaires Care is seeking a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to provide safe, family-centered care for mothers, newborns, and families through labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum recovery.

The ideal candidate will perform comprehensive maternal-fetal assessments, monitor fetal well-being, administer medications and IV therapy, and coordinate care with obstetricians and the care team while documenting accurately in the EHR and supporting families throughout the birth experience.

Qualifications

• RN licensure with strong maternal-newborn clinical knowledge.
• Competence in maternal-fetal assessment and continuous fetal monitoring.
• Ability to administer medications and IV therapy with patient safety.
• Excellent communication and patient/family advocacy.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive maternal-fetal assessments and ongoing patient evaluation.
• Provide continuous fetal monitoring and respond to changes in condition.
• Administer medications and manage IV therapy as prescribed.
• Coordinate care with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, midwives, and support teams.
• Support and advocate for patients and birth plans; educate patients and families.
• Manage obstetric emergencies with clinical urgency and sound judgment.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EHR.
