Job Overview

The Labor and Delivery department at the Colorado Fetal Care Center (CFCC) at Children’s Hospital Colorado (CHCO) offers cares for perinatal care for expecting mothers with almost any fetal condition, regardless of how rare or critical. Located on the Anschutz Medical Campus, ours is one of the largest and most technologically advanced fetal care centers in the country. Our talented team of specialized MDs, Anesthesiologists, RNs, surgical technicians and sonographers are highly trained to provide a deep level of experience and expertise for a vast array of rare and complex conditions. As a nurse on our team, you will collaborate regularly with maternal fetal medicine specialists and neonatologists. Families cared for in the Colorado Fetal Care Center, who seek our expertise in congenital conditions and fetal anomalies, often transition to the NICU for care after birth, providing team members with unique opportunities to provide coordinated care to families facing rare diagnoses such as congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH), bladder outlet obstruction, twin-to-twin transfusion and myelomeningocele. Specialized interventions provided in our NICU include Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO), therapeutic hypothermia, and inhaled nitric oxide.

This position is eligible for relocation assistance, if relocating from 100 miles or greater.

Qualifications

  • EDUCATION – Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
  • EXPERIENCE – One year nursing experience. 2 years of previous experience in high-risk Labor and Delivery strongly preferred.
  • EQUIVALENCY- Applicants with an Associate's Degree in Nursing and who agree to obtain a BSN within three (3) years from their start/hire date may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master’s Entry to Practice Nursing (MEPN) may substitute for a BSN.
  • LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION(S ) – Current Colorado Registered Nurse (RN) license or RN license from multistate compact; BLS/CPR from the American Heart Association with at least six (6) months left before expiration is required upon hire. ACLS, NRP, and C-EFM required within 1 year of hire per unit requirements.

    Salary Information

    Annual Salary Range (Based on 40 hours worked per week): $75,957.07 to $113,935.61

    Hourly Salary Range: $36.52 to $54.78
