The role supports 24/7 operations with OB hospitalists, anesthesia, and Maternal Fetal Medicine specialists, emphasizing safe staffing ratios and clinical excellence.

The ideal candidate has a valid RN license, BLS certification, and continuous commitment to high-quality patient care in a fast-paced maternity environment.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited nursing program (associate's, diploma, or BSN).
• Must hold a current RN license and Basic Life Support certification.
• Additional certifications such as ACLS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, PALS, and others may be required based on the unit.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Evaluate care effectiveness and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Uphold patient rights and maintain confidentiality.
• Demonstrate strong professional accountability and nursing practice standards.

Physical requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand and walk for extended periods, and perform tasks involving bending, reaching, kneeling, and twisting.
