Job summary

ViziRecruiter LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse in New York to join our clinical team. This 10-hour flex day position includes on-call evenings, nights, weekends and holidays, overseen by the Clinical Nurse Manager.

The RN will provide quality patient care using the nursing process, demonstrate clinical competence, and participate in ongoing performance improvement initiatives. A NYS RN license and BLS certification are required, along with graduation from an accredited nursing program.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Must hold New York State RN license and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care utilizing the nursing process with attention to the total population’s needs.
• Manages the provision of patient care by coordinating with Health Care Teams and assuming clinical leadership on the unit as assigned by the Clinical Nurse Manager.

The Registered Nurse, in collaboration with the Clinical Nurse Manager, is responsible for providing quality patient care by demonstrating clinical competence and participating in ongoing Performance Improvement.

Responsibilities

Provides professional nursing care utilizing the nursing process, with special attention to the special needs and behaviors of the total population. Manages the provision of patient care through integrating the functions of the Health Care Teams. Assumes responsibility for clinical leadership on the unit as assigned by the Clinical Nurse Manager.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Required
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English
• Demonstrates basic knowledge of nursing theory and practice.
• Knowledge of appropriate technology and practice standards for area of responsibility.
• Demonstrates sound clinical skills, understanding of the acute care process, standards of practice and positive communication skills.
