Job summary

ViziRecruiter,LLC. in New York is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver quality patient care in collaboration with the Clinical Nurse Manager.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse, in collaboration with the Clinical Nurse Manager, is responsible for providing quality patient care by demonstrating clinical competence and participating in ongoing Performance Improvement.
• Provides professional nursing care utilizing the nursing process, with special attention to the special needs and behaviors of the total population.
• Manages the provision of patient care through integrating the functions of the Health Care Teams.
• Assumes responsibility for clinical leadership on the unit as assigned by the Clinical Nurse Manager.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Required.
• Demonstrates basic knowledge of nursing theory and practice.
• Knowledge of appropriate technology and practice standards for area of responsibility.
• Demonstrates sound clinical skills, understanding of the acute care process, standards of practice and positive communication skills.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Registered Nurse New York - New York State Board of Nursing Required.
• BLS - American Heart Association Required.
