Responsibilities

Job Summary:

The Radiology Nurse provides safe and effective nursing care in the Diagnostic Imaging Department, supporting hospital mission by ensuring quality patient care. Responsibilities include:

• Monitoring patient conditions and needs
• Collaborating with physicians and nurses to develop care plans
• Administering medications and treatments as ordered
• Educating patients and families on health and prevention
• Fostering a compassionate environment

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Associate degree in Nursing from an accredited program
• Current KY RN licensure or compact license with privileges in Kentucky
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• One year of Critical Care experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
