St. Elizabeth Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse for Interventional Radiology at the Ft. Thomas Hospital.

This is a full-time, first-shift role offering 40 hours per week, with responsibilities spanning monitoring and assisting IR procedures for adult patients in emergency, medical, diagnostic, and invasive settings. The RN will work under the direction of a qualified Interventional Radiologist, ensuring patient safety, quality care, and excellent patient experiences while adhering to

Qualifications

• Licensed in the state where work will be performed.
• If eligible, must have a Compact (multistate) License in their primary state of residence.
• CPR certification, ACLS certification, ECG rhythm interpretations and knowledge of critical care medications.
• Competent to independently perform safe nursing skills and procedures.
• Successful completion of preceptorship and orientation to the facility and clinical area.
• Able to think and problem solve in routine and emergency situations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assist with Interventional Radiology procedures for adult patients.
• Ensure patient safety and deliver high-quality, personalized care.
• Communicate with patients, families, visitors, and staff with respect for dignity and diverse needs.
• Provide care during emergency, medical, diagnostic, and invasive procedures as directed by the Interventional Radiologist.

The Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse is a health care professional that under the direction of a qualified Interventional Radiologist monitors/assist with procedures on adult patients requiring emergency, medical, therapeutic, diagnostic and invasive services that result in an accurate diagnosis and/or optimal treatment while maintaining maximum patient safety, high quality, efficient and personalized care to patients, families visitors, and other employees with respect for dignity of the individual and their physical, psychological, sociological , cultural and spiritual needs.
