Job summary

CommonSpirit Health is actively seeking a Registered Nurse in Colorado Springs to support the 7 North IMC unit at Penrose Hospital. You will collaborate with a 24-hour team to deliver compassionate, high-quality patient care, adhering to nursing processes and professional standards in a Magnet hospital setting.

Responsibilities include facilitating care with patients and families, ensuring safety and timely interventions, and communicating effectively with the care team.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing required.
• RN License in state of employment required.
• Physical requirements: medium work, lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally, up to 20 lbs frequently, up to 10 lbs constantly.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our RN, you will assume responsibility for facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with the healthcare team and patient/family to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient, advancing modern nursing through compassionate care.

Every day you will promote optimal patient health, well-being, and safety through the nursing process, adhering to patient care standards, guidelines, and the State Nurse Practice Act, and demonstrating personal accountability for relationship-based care and our organizational mission.

We are offering a $20,000 Sign on Bonus and up to $8,000 in relocation assistance to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.

Job Requirements

Required

• Associates Degree in Nursing; Nursing Diploma or by endorsement
• RN License in state of employment
• Physical Requirements: Medium Work exert/lift up to 50 lbs. force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently, and/or up to 10lbs. constantly

Preferred

• Bachelors Degree in Nursing
• One (1) year experience

At Penrose Hospital, one of our achieved Magnet hospitals, the 7 North Intermediate Care Department (IMC) has 24 beds and is a higher level of care for med/surg patients. We have an incredible 24-hour team and our greatest attribute is our team work. Individuals looking to join our unit must have strong critical thinking skills, excellent time management and be quick learners.

Pay Range

$36.51 - $59.00 /hour
