Methodist Celina Medical Center, near Dallas, seeks a Registered Nurse to provide skilled bedside and unit-based care with a PRN night shift schedule. You will play a key role in coordinating care, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team and applying the nursing process to diverse patients.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, Texas licensure eligibility, BLS; ACLS per department; at least 1 year of critical care experience; BSN preferred.

Job Description

Your Job: Registered nurse renders highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients. Provides direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation). Directs and supervises other assigned team members and collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide age/developmentally appropriate care in accordance with unit standards of care.

Your Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. BSN Preferred
• Current Basic Life Support Certification
• Current additional certifications as required by department ACLS
• Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so
• Work experience: at least one year critical care RN experience

Methodist Celina Medical Center is located on a 40+ acre campus just off of Dallas Parkway, and will serve as the community’s first full-service hospital, serving Celina and surrounding communities. The four-story medical center will open with 51 beds, with plans for expansion, and will feature a range of services including cardiology, women’s services, orthopedics, robotic surgery, and more. The campus will also include a 40,000-square-foot medical office building.
