Job summary

Henry Ford Providence Southfield Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Intensive Care Unit. The role supports neurosurgical, neurotrauma and medical-surgical patients with advanced monitoring and critical care skills.

You will work (3) 12-hour shifts from 7pm to 7:30am, with every other weekend and rotating holidays. A BSN is preferred, plus Michigan nursing licensure and BCLS certification.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred; graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities to formulate effective nursing care plans.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

Job Title -Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit

About the Department

A 24-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU) responsible for neurosurgical, neurotrauma and medical surgical patients with required proficiency in hemodynamic monitoring, recognition and treatment of acute patient deterioration, varied postoperative management. Qualified staff trained in Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT), External Ventricular Drains (EVDs), Massive Transfusion Protocols (MTP), Malignant Hyperthermia Protocols, and Post-Cardiac Arrests. Henry Ford Providence Southfield is an accredited teaching institution; ICU is privileged to work with a multidisciplinary team and incorporate all specialties into our daily care, including Intensivists, Nurse Practitioners, Critical Care Fellows, Residents, Social Workers, Case Managers, Dietitians, Speech Therapists, Physical Therapists, and Occupational Therapists.

(3) - 12 Hour Shifts, 7pm - 730am, every other weekend and rotating holidays

Qualifications
