Boston Children’s Hospital is seeking an experienced RN to join our Inpatient Psychiatry Units in Boston or Waltham. The role involves providing nursing care to patients and families, maintaining a safe and therapeutic milieu, and educating families.

You will facilitate group therapies and oversee behavioral health staff, with a rotating schedule across days/evenings including weekends and holidays. The candidate should have a BSN and 1+ year RN experience, preferably in behavioral health;

Qualifications

• 1+ years of RN experience, preferably in behavioral health.
• Inpatient and pediatric experience preferred.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced RN to join our Inpatient Psychiatry Units in Boston or Waltham.

Key Responsibilities

• Overseeing behavioral health specialist staff.
• 24, 32 or36 hours, schedule is day/evening rotating (approx 50%), occasional overnights, every other weekend and rotating holidays. Boston or Waltham MA locations.

Minimum Qualifications

Education:

• A bachelor‘s degree in nursing

Experience:

• 1+ years of RN experience, preferably in a behavioral health setting. Inpatient and pediatric experience preferred.

Licensure/Certifications

• Current Massachusetts license as a Registered Nurse (RN)

** This position is eligible for a $10,000 sign-on for RNs with 1 or more years of related RN experience. (Internal candidates and former BCH employees who have worked at BCH in the past 2 years are not eligible).

The posted pay range is Boston Children’s reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting.
