Job summary

Boston Children's Hospital in Waltham, MA seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Inpatient Psychiatry Units. You will provide direct nursing care, educate patients and families, and help maintain a safe, therapeutic environment.

The role supports group therapies and may involve overseeing behavioral health staff. Schedule options include day/evening rotations with weekends and some overnights, offering a comprehensive benefits package and a $10,000 sign-on for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing is required.
• 1+ year RN experience, preferably in behavioral health.
• Massachusetts RN license is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients and families.
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic milieu.
• Provide education to patients and families.
• Facilitate group therapies.
• Oversee behavioral health specialist staff.
• Schedule includes 24, 32 or 36 hours with day/evening rotations, occasional overnights, every other weekend and rotating holidays.
