Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center in Williamsburg, VA is seeking an Inpatient Surgical - Registered Nurse for a full-time position. The RN will perform nursing duties, admit and assess patients, administer medications, and collaborate with families and the healthcare team.

New grads are welcome and BLS is required within 90 days of hire. Starting pay for new grads is $36.00/hour, with a base pay range for full-time roles between $41.93 and $61.01 per hour.

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for performing a competent level of nursing care as demonstrated by the critical thinking model known as the nursing process. The standards of practice (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, coordination of care- teaching and health promotion and evaluation) along with the standards of professional performance (ethics, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence- based practice /nursing research, quality, evaluation, resource utilization, and environmental health) encompass the actions and foundation of professional nursing. The RN possesses clinical knowledge and skills to meet standards as required by specific clinical area: all Direct Care RN's required to have BLS within 90 days of hire.

EDUCATION:

RN Degree: RN Diploma, ADN, BSN or MSN

CERTIFICATIONS and or LICENSURE:

RN License valid to work in the State of Virginia

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $41.93 - $61.01 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
