Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Conroe, a major regional hospital in Conroe, TX, seeks a Registered Nurse for the Inpatient Rehab Unit to coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with physicians and the care team.

The RN will employ established nursing models, advocate for patients and families, and support the organization’s mission and core values while contributing to excellent clinical outcomes and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma Required
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Preferred
• 1 year applicable experience Required
• Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with medical providers and care team
• Uses nursing models such as Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care in accordance with the nature and specific requirements of the department, and consistent with the scope and standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. In collaboration with medical providers and other members of the care team, the RN provides individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care using established nursing models such as “Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.” The RN serves as an advocate for patients/families/caregivers and models a commitment to the organization’s vision/mission/values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes that contribute to overall departmental performance.
