Mercyhealth is seeking a registered nurse to provide direct patient care, assess needs, administer medications, and document care plans. The role collaborates with physicians and the health care team, and includes patient and family teaching to promote safety and quality.
The position is night shift, 24 hours per week, requiring ADN or BSN per unit guidelines, and licensure as an RN in Illinois with CPR/BLS certification within 90 days.
This role provides patient care by assessing patients, giving medications and treatments, creating care plans, and documenting care. The nurse works with doctors and other healthcare team members, teaches patients and families, promotes patient safety, and helps improve the quality of care.
