Job summary

Penn Medicine is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to join Princeton House Behavioral Health in Princeton, NJ. The evening shift (3pm-11pm) on Wing 3, with 28 beds, focuses on detox and dual diagnosis care, including medication-assisted treatment and group therapy.

Required are a BSN or pursuit of one, NJ RN license, and BLS, with at least 15 months of RN experience. Flexible benefits include medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans along with PTO and tuition assistance.

• Penn Medicine Princeton Health (PMPH) is seeking afull timeRN (Registered Nurse) to work theevening shiftwithin Princeton House Behavioral Health (PHBH).This position is within Wing 3 (Drug and Alcohol Unit/Detox and Dual diagnosis) with 28 beds.
• We offer medically monitored detoxification and treatment for alcohol and benzodiazepines. Our skilled staff help patients safely manage withdrawal symptoms and cravings while keeping them as comfortable as possible. Medication-assisted treatment, group therapy, and other services aid their recovery.

Location:

Princeton House Behavioral Health (905 Herrontown Road Princeton NJ).

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develops and maintains a plan of nursing care based on goals derived from identified needs; revises the patients individualized plan of care as indicated
• Implements individualized nursing plan of care, consistent with established policies, procedures, and protocols
• Evaluates and documents patient responses to nursing care, and participates in evaluating and improving the delivery of care on the unit
• Demonstrates accuracy in entering medication orders on the computer and medication administration
• Provides appropriate coordination of care and intervention to patients undergoing a psychiatric or medical emergency

Scheduling Requirements:

• 5 evening shifts a week (3pm-11pm)
• Every other weekend requirement

What We Require for this Role:

Education

• Bachelor’s degree required, or in pursuit of
• A registered nurse with an Associate’s Degree with greater than 5 years of clinical experience in a clinical specialty may be considered.

Related Work Experience

• 15 months of RN experience required

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIREMENT

• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Active RN NJ license

Salary Range:

$49.96 - $68.99/Hourly
