Job summary

Baptist Health (Jacksonville) is seeking an Infusion Therapy Registered Nurse to join the team in Jacksonville, FL. This full-time day position supports the Infusion Therapy unit with venipuncture, IV access, and chemotherapy support, working Monday through Friday from 8:00 to 5:00.

The RN will administer IV medications, monitor patients, educate families, and coordinate care with radiology and supportive staff.

Qualifications

• Associates of Science in Nursing required.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license required by State Nursing Boards.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Experience with IV team or infusion settings is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture, IV catheter insertion, and PICC line care.
• Calculate and administer IV medications.
• Recognize signs of distress or adverse reactions to medications.
• Obtain vital signs and monitor patient condition.
• Educate patients and families about disease and plan of care.
• Coordinate care with Interventional Radiologists and other team members.
• Advocate for patients and ensure nursing process is followed.
