Job summary

Minneapolis Clinic Of Neurology Ltd is seeking an experienced RN with infusion therapy skills to support in-office patient care. You will triage calls, obtain histories, and administer IV medications under physician direction.

Responsibilities include charting in the EHR, assisting with procedures, and coordinating patient education on infusion therapies. Must be a licensed MN RN with 4+ years in nursing, infusion experience preferred.

• Obtains and updates patients’ histories.
• Administers IV medications in office, as directed by physicians.
• Obtains and verifies patient’s insurance information.
• Assists with office procedures, as requested by physician.
• Enters data and information into the patient’s electronic medical record.
• Labs: may draw blood per MD orders, prepares, and sends to lab per protocol.
• Performs miscellaneous duties as requested by physicians and support staff

Provides education regarding infusion therapies.

• Provides patients with educational materials and resources. Educate patients on medication and therapies.
• Answers patient questions regarding medications, reactions, and topics related to their neurologic condition.
• Participate in practice improvements by implementing changes to procedures/workflows, identifying opportunities for improvement, and assisting with the delivery of compassionate and personalized patient care.

Requirements

Education and Experience:

• A.S. or B.S.N. degree in nursing.
• MN Licensure as a registered nurse.
• Four years of experience in nursing, with two years of experience with infusion therapy desired.
