Job summary

Qualifications

Job description

• Deliver exceptional nursing care to infusion and oncology patients
• Conduct and analyze initial and ongoing patient assessments
• Create plans of care, implement treatments, and evaluate treatment effectiveness
• Restore, support, promote, rehabilitate, or palliate patients across the lifespan
• Administer chemotherapy and other medication
• Start IVs and transfuse blood and blood products

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Associates degree or Bachelors degree in Nursing
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• BLS Basic Life Support preferred upon hire; must obtain from an approved source prior to direct patient care
• ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support acceptable in lieu of BLS
• ONS Oncology Nursing Society Chemotherapy Certification required within 6 months of hire
• One (1) year of medical/surgical or oncology experience preferred, not required
• EPIC Electronic Health Record training preferred, not required
