MUSC Health Lancaster Medical Center is seeking a professional nurse to provide intravenous therapy and oncology infusion care. You will administer IV treatments as directed, assess venipuncture sites, and document observations in the electronic medical record.
Graduates of accredited nursing programs with SC RN licensure and BLS are encouraged to apply; chemotherapy/infusion certification through ONS/ONCC must be obtained if not already certified.

Provides professional nursing care to assigned patients in need of intravenous treatment. Administers intravenous therapeutic treatments as directed by a physician. Determines appropriate venipuncture and/or catheter site. Observes patients' IV treatment and records observations in patient medical records. Provides information to patients and families regarding intravenous treatment and procedures.
Previous experience in oncology, infusion nursing preferred.
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing is required. Bachelor of Nursing degree preferred.
Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state is required. ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certification must be obtained if not already certified. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) with the American Heart Association (AHA) is required.
