Job summary

RadNet in Maryland is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our patient-centered radiology team. You will administer injections, monitor post-procedure patients, draw labs, access central lines, and support safe medication handling while upholding HIPAA/privacy standards.

Your strong communication, professional demeanor, and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment will help ensure high-quality care for patients and collaboration with physicians and staff across imaging

Qualifications

• Current and appropriate state nursing license.
• Maintain current and valid ACLS certification.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Administer injections and monitor patients during/post administration.
• Administer post-biopsy vital sign checks on patients where applicable.
• Access central lines/ports, initiate IV access.
• Draw lab specimens peripherally or via central line.
• Assist with Hypersensitivity Reactions; provide preliminary exam and vital signs in the event of accident/injury at the center.
• Demonstrates competency regarding safeguarding patient property and Patient Health Information.
• Safeguards medications on site per company policies and legal requirements.
• Demonstrates respect for company property and patient information on site or portals.
• Exhibits professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Respects patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during interactions.
• Interacts diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, families, and the public in a clinical setting.
• Establishes, nurtures, and maintains cooperative working relationships.
