Job summary

HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in an acute care setting. You will collaborate with physicians and the care team to implement individualized treatment plans and educate patients and families on conditions and follow-up care.

You will maintain documentation, engage in evidence-based practice, and participate in quality improvement initiatives to support outstanding patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Florida RN license required or multistate license with Florida permit
• 1+ years of RN experience in acute care preferred
• BLS required; ACLS and PALS per facility policy within specified windows
• NIH Stroke Scale competency within 30 days of employment start
• ACLS/ PALS provider cards within 6 months of start date

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in the RN scope
• Collaborate with medical providers and care team to implement care plans
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and follow-up
• Document care and ensure timely updates to medical records
• Engage in evidence-based practice and quality improvement initiatives

Skills

Florida RN license

Acute care experience

BLS Certification

ACLS within 6 months

PALS within 6 months

NIH Stroke Scale within 30 days

Education

Registered Nurse Diploma or ASN
