Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide patient care using the nursing process and to coordinate care across departments in Fort Smith, AR. The role emphasizes patient rights, confidentiality, and adherence to Mercy Service Standards.

Qualifications include an accredited nursing program graduate, active RN license (AR or compact), and BLS/ACLS either on hire or within 90 days. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is available for full-time RNs with at least 1 year of experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN/ Diploma/ BSN).
• Current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure; must meet state board requirements.
• American Heart Association BLS and ACLS required or obtained within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
