Job summary

Mercy in Missouri is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to provide patient-centered care using the nursing process, maintain patient rights and confidentiality, and coordinate care with other departments.

The role requires graduation from an accredited RN program, an active MO RN license (or compact), and current BLS; many units may require ACLS, PALS, ENPC, TNCC or other unit-specific certifications within defined timelines.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
• Licensure: Active RN license in Missouri and/or compact licensure as required by the hiring state.
• Certifications: BLS (and other unit-specific certifications as required) within defined timelines.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for patient care for assigned patients.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of care provided by direct caregivers.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments and maintains patient rights/confidentiality.
