Job summary

Mercy is seeking a registered nurse in Missouri to provide patient care using the nursing process, coordinate care with other departments, and ensure patient rights and confidentiality. The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program and an active RN license (state or compact) with applicable certifications.

Candidates should have BLS at minimum, with preferred ACLS/ALS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, and other unit-specific certifications.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program.
• Maintain current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support certification or completion within 30 days of hire.
• One or more unit-specific certifications may be required (ACLS/ALS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, BLS, PALS, PEARS, STABLE, C-EFM, or other).

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Evaluates overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
