Job summary

Methodist Mansfield Medical Center in North Texas is seeking a Registered Nurse to render professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients. You will provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process and support the hospital's mission and strategic goals.

The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, current BLS, Texas nursing license (or eligibility), and at least 12 months of RN experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification.
• Current license to practice nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so.
• Work experience: 12 months of RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to hospital standards to promote a cooperative work environment using communication skills and teamwork.
• Assumes responsibility for the nursing components of the patient/family care.
• Communicates with team, coworkers, patients, and families and ensures understanding of information.
• Creates and maintains a safe and therapeutic environment.
• Ensures complete, accurate, and timely written communication of patient information.
• Provides safe, accurate, and timely medication and IV administration.
• Takes personal responsibility for performance and professional growth and development.
• Uses the nursing process to ensure quality patient care throughout the episode of care.
• Other duties as assigned.
