Job summary

Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville, FL, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Imaging team at Baptist Downtown. This full-time role provides direct patient care within a busy radiology environment.

You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care, involve families in care planning, coordinate room prep, assist Interventional Radiologists, and participate in on-call coverage.

Qualifications

• Current RN license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Clinical experience in hospital imaging or related area preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care with supervision of staff.
• Involve patients and families in developing an individualized plan of care.
• Coordinate and prepare assigned room/case, assess patient care needs and anticipate case needs.
• Assist Interventional Radiologists during procedures.
• On-call coverage is required.

Baptist Medical Center is looking to add a Registered Nurse to our Imaging team at our Baptist Downtown location in Jacksonville, FL. This Registered Nurse position is a full-time opportunity.

As a Registered Nurse in our Imaging team your responsibilities will include:

• Assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation supervision of care provided by supportive personnel and coordination of care provided by ancillary services
• Including patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing an individualized plan of care
• Coordination and preparation of assigned room/case, assessment of patient care needs and the anticipation of needs of the case
• Assisting the Interventional Radiologists
• Call required

Experience Requirements:

• Clinical Experience Preferred

Education & Credential Requirements:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Licensed Registered Nurse Required

This Registered Nurse will be located at Baptist Downtown, located in Jacksonville, FL.
