Job summary

Evercare of Granite City seeks a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in Illinois to join our team in Granite City. You will provide direct patient care, develop care plans, administer medications, and educate patients and families.

About the Role:

As a Registered Nurse with Evercare of Granite City, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic and supportive environment. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, administer medications and treatments, and educate patients and families on healthy habits and disease management.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to a diverse patient population, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapy as ordered by physicians
• Educate patients and families on disease management, self-care techniques, and healthy habits
• Document patient care and progress in accordance with facility policies and procedures
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and experience
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient care and communications
• Participate in inter-shift report and handovers to ensure seamless patient care

Requirements:

• Current Illinois State Registered Nurse License
• Preferred years of experience as a Registered Nurse
• Degree in Nursing (Associate's or Bachelor's)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition patients as needed
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
